MTA candidate forum today at noon, parking information, and other news from the FSU

Please join us today at the event below:   

For FSU/MTA members only- MTA Candidates Forum is today, Tuesday, February 20, 12 noon in the Campus Center Ballroom A.  Candidates for President and Vice-President of the Massachusetts Teacher’s Association (MTA) will be visiting and answering your questions.  The upcoming MTA election is a very important one, and its results will affect our workplace.  Those of you who wish to be MTA delegates this May should especially attend so you have information for this contested election.  Hosted by the FSU and Professional Staff Unions.  Pizza will be served. 

Parking fee increase:  The university released the consultant’s report justifying the $15 parking fee for students.  This is here.  We appreciate your thoughts as we begin to bargain this. 

Fourth year/tenure and promotion review informational workshop: will be held Thursday, March 29, 2-4 in the Integrated Sciences Complex, 3rd Fl., Room 3300. The Office for Faculty Development and the FSU will be hosting this.
