The administration's recent proposal to convert the Division of Corporate, Continuing, and Distance Education (DCCDE) into a degree granting college (University College) has sparked much discussion on campus. Click here to view the FSU Executive Committee's official response to the University College proposal.
Final language for the 2009-2012 collective bargaining agreement (CBA) is still being worked on. The FSU will post and distribute the CBA as soon as it is completed (see below for a summary of the new CBA).
Bargaining for the 2009-2012 DCCDE CBA began on Friday, September 11th. Click here for an update on the progress of negotiations or contact the FSU office if you have specific questions on this issue.

The FSU has provided department chairs and other administrators with a contract information sheet designed to assist them in the proper implementation of the contract, particularly in regards to issues surrounding non-tenure track faculty (course prioritization lists, Senior Lecturer promotions, etc.). We've posted the info sheet (along with a shorter, bulleted version) below.
