Pay raises and Construction Update

3/11/2022

Dear FSU Member,

We are providing you with a couple of updates.

Pay Raises:  Our pay raise funding was included in Governor Baker’s February 18th Supplemental Budget request. The request is before the state legislature for debate (not for our funding but executive branch initiatives). Hopefully the legislature will vote shortly, the governor will sign and then our Human Resources can begin the process of member payment.

Dear FSU members,

At the first FSU Executive Committee meeting of the semester, Ex Com voted to endorse the Vision Platform statement of the nation-wide coalition, Higher Ed Labor United (HELU).   This makes FSU one of 84 union locals in over 30 states (representing over 400,000 higher ed workers) to have joined this coalition.
