  2. CLRs and Budget: Brief update: FSU receives 5 CLRs per year: 2 allotted to President, 2 to Vice President, 1 to a grievance officer. The MTA is not increasing dues this year.

  3. Elections – Vice President?: After current election, assuming Caroline wins, FSU will need to elect a Vice President. Two options: a) special election or b) Ex Comm could nominate the person who came in second during the previous election (but Caroline ran unopposed). Special election would occur immediately after current election.

  4. Antiracism funding: FSU bargained for $25,000 in years 2 and 3 of the new contract. FSU put out call for proposals and received around 20 proposals on a variety of topics. The Antiracism Committee evaluated the proposals and recommended 7 to the Provost, which he approved. Almost all were proposed by groups and almost all funds went to faculty of color. Next year FSU will put out call for proposals earlier to give people more lead time.

  5. Stipend for our undergrad social media interns: Discussion of potential funding options for social media internship stipends, including allocation from FSU budget, fundraising, donations, and grants.

  6. Annual FSU Meeting – agenda items: Annual FSU Meeting will be held Thursday, April 14. Agenda will include discussion and approval of the annual budget and a recap of the FSU’s year.

  7. Chancellor Meeting with Campus Unions – possible topics, agenda items?: As a result of the multi-union rally in December, the unions demanded a meeting with the chancellor. A 45-minutes meeting has been scheduled during spring break. FSU, PSU, CSU, GEO, and DCU representatives will all be present.

  8. Open Letter from CSM faculty: Discussion of open letter (https://sites.google.com/view/umb-mission-vision-letter/home). The letter initiated by faculty in Mathematics and has been signed on by and circulated to other faculty outside of CSM.
