Contract Ratification Vote Results

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the results of the contract ratification vote.

There were 298 votes cast. 295 votes in favor of ratification. 3 votes opposed.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the process, and to the FSU Elections Committee for conducting the ratification vote. The 2024-2027 contract is now in effect.

What happens next?

We just informed Marie Bowen, Vice Chancellor of Human Resources and Mickey Gallagher, UMB Labor Relations, that the contract was ratified. They have promised to expeditiously inform the UMass President’s Office, which will submit the contract information to the Governor’s Office. We hope it will be included in the supplemental funding bill when it comes up for a final vote in the State legislature. After the bill with our contract funding is passed and signed into law, raises and any retro pay will show up in our paychecks a few weeks later.

We will let you know when we have concrete details about the timeline.
