FSU Survey – Fall Opening, Health/Safety, and Remote Teaching

8/10/2021

Dear FSU Members,

With the recent surge of the Delta variant, the FSU would like to know how faculty/librarians feel about the Fall reopening, particularly around the possibility of expanding the amount of remote classes being offered.

The survey takes less than 2 minutes.  Don’t wait!

(contact FSU or Steve Striffler for survey link information).

Parking Bargaining is Back – FSU General Meeting, July 20th

7/13/2021

Dear FSU Member,

The UMB Administration has notified the campus unions that the Bayside Lot is anticipated to be closed around June 2022. This would eliminate all of the lower-cost parking available to students and employees.  To address this and other on-going concerns about the current parking fees, a coalition of campus unions (including the CSU, DCU, FSU and PSU) held an initial meeting with management on July 8th.
