10/24/2022

Dear Member,

This issue of Nuts & Bolts focuses on your core bargaining team and how you can help the team.

The FSU Executive Committee is pleased to announce the members of your core bargaining team (CBT) who will bargain our successor collective bargaining agreement 2023-2026.  In alphabetical order:

Jessica Holden

Jason Rodriquez

Fortunately, we received many applications- but of course this made the selection process difficult.  We thank all those who applied and for your willingness to serve your union.

Bargaining Survey

For the CBT to make proposals at the bargaining table we need you to provide us with your input.

In a few weeks you will receive by email a survey that covers a wide range of topics.  Please do open the email and take a few minutes to answer the questions.

Bargaining Schedule

In late December, the CBT will send an email to the Provost and Vice Chancellor of Human Resources informing them that we are requesting bargaining begins. It is expected that we will begin meeting in January 2023.

How can you be involved?

Complete the survey.

Join the Contract Action Team (CAT). For more information read today’s The Point.

Attend bargaining sessions as a member of our expanded bargaining team.

Share your thoughts when the CBT or CAT send email communications.

Sincerely,

Caroline Coscia
