Dear Members,

Happy meteorological spring!

FSU Annual Meeting, April 23 3:00 – 5:00PM

FSU Bylaws requires member notification no less than 30 days prior to the annual meeting.  We used the February 26th Nuts & Bolts as our formal notification of the meeting.

FSU bylaws and policies contain specific timelines related to the meeting. These include:

No later than April 9th:  Members are sent the meeting agenda along with all relevant materials (i.e., proposed budget, distributed CLRs).   We plan to send this on Monday, April 8th.

No later than March 24th: By March 24th, members need to receive a call for new business items.  The deadline for submittal is April 2nd 5PM EDT.  The official call for new business items along with how to submit will be in the March 19th Nuts & Bolts.

ADA Accommodations

We are reaching out to those who have ADA accommodation specifically if you are being informed you must re-submit your accommodation request for the next semester. If so, please email us at fsu@umb.edu.  We do not need to know the accommodation; we just want to know if you must re-submit paperwork to maintain the accommodation.

Tuesday, March 19th 11:00AM -1:30PM Imagining an Anti-Racist and Health Promoting Campus Culture: An Interactive Student-Centered program. The room location is ISC 4-300.  See the attached flyer for event details.

Coming to Campus on Sunday, March 17th

To our lab colleagues (and graduate students) who come to campus on Sundays, do remember South Boston’s Saint Patrick’s Day parade begins at 1PM at Andrew Station.  In addition to the parade, Sunday morning includes a 5k road race.  Many roads will be closed, and Kosciuszko Circle may be impacted.
