The Sankofa Conversations Series on Structural Racism is taking place at UMass Boston during the Fall semester. The first discussion – An Anti-Racism and Health-Promoting Campus Conversation -- takes place TODAY Thursday (10/15) from 6:30 to 8:30pm. The attached flyer outlines the rest of the Fall events.

Today’s conversation will be moderated by Jemadari Kamara (Africana Studies) and include Chancellor Marcelo Suárez-Orozco, Interim Provost Emily McDermott, as well as Tara Parker (Higher Education & Chair, Leadership in Education), Tim Seiber (Anthropology), Dean Linda Thompson (College of Nursing), Janelle Quarles (CSU President), Patricia Krueger-Henney (Urban Education & Director, Center for Innovative Teaching), and Celine Voyard (undergraduate).
A question and answer period with the audience will follow the panel discussion.
