The FSU Elections Committee is pleased to announce the 2021 slate of candidates for positions on the FSU Executive Committee. Positions up for election this cycle include: Vice President, Tenured Faculty, Pre-Tenure Faculty, and Non-Tenure Track Faculty.

Nomination Period Open for FSU Spring 2021 Elections- Deadline extended to Tues 2/16/21

The election nomination period for Faculty Staff Union (FSU) Executive Committee positions has been extended until Tuesday, 2/16 (please note that the document titled 2021 Election Announcement still indicates the previous deadline).

The positions up for election or re-election in Spring 2021 include:

Vice President

Non-Tenure Track (2 positions)

Pre-Tenure (1 position)

Tenured (3 positions)

New UMB Sexual Harassment Policy

Dear FSU Members,

The FSU Sexual Harassment Committee and the Administration have reached agreement on a new sexual harassment policy (see MOU 6 of the contract for the relevant language regarding the charge of that committee). That policy can be seen here.

Happy New Year!  I hope the break brought you some peace and some time to regroup after what I know was, for so many of us, a truly challenging semester.  I also know that there are some (good) reasons to feel like perhaps we can exhale a bit, perhaps let go of some of the adaptive vigilance we have had to don like armor for the past year.
