Dear FSU Members, 

We just finished our second main table bargaining session, the agenda for which was that administration would respond to the FSU’s proposals (detailed below our signature) and present proposals of their own. 

Despite having had over a month to prepare, however, administration did not in fact have any proposals to offer.  As well, they were largely dismissive, without substantial engagement or discussion, of the FSU’s proposals.

As you know, the FSU is now able to bring 30 members of our bargaining team (that’s you!) to attend bargaining sessions with our Core Bargaining Team.   The next bargaining session is August 17th from 1:30 to 3:00pm.  Please register if you wish to participate (contact Steve Striffler or the FSU office for registration information).

We expect (a) Admin to provide responses to the FSU proposals presented on July 10th and (b) to receive new proposals from Administration.
