The Point: Bots

7/13/2020

Greetings, Colleagues.

Whose Streets? Our Streets!

If you’ve been to a protest march or rally in the modern era no doubt you have heard the chant “Whose Streets? Our Streets!”  Maybe you have even shouted along with it.

“Whose Streets? Our Streets!” is always an elegant performance —a bait-and-switch that seems to ask a knotty rhetorical question only to answer it with the fact of its own iteration.  But what if we apply “Whose Streets?” to our own campus?

Greetings, Colleagues.

REMINDER: Sign the FSU Class Size Pledge!

7/1/2020

Colleagues,

Even though over 300 of our NTT colleagues have already been sent non-reappointment notices, we, the remaining faculty, can support our non-reappointed colleagues by pledging to resist larger class sizes and refusing to enroll students over course caps for the upcoming fall semester (see the contract language in Article 15.4 of the contract).
