Stand up tomorrow for adjuncts in MA community colleges

12/20/17

Dear Colleagues:

Happy holidays!  Before you go on a well-deserved break, please consider breaking from your grading to support adjunct faculty tomorrow.

Stand out with adjunct faculty in community colleges tomorrow, Thursday, Dec. 21 at noon at Roxbury Community College (1234 Columbus Avenue, Roxbury Crossing, MA; Building 3, Room 422)  These adjunct faculty are poorly paid, have dreadful working conditions, and have been offered a zero percent pay raise this year and a 1 percent raise next year (we are being offered 1% this year and 2% next year) with no improvement in work conditions.  Wear red if you canSee attached for further information.

  • Can’t make it?  Call or email the community college presidents with the suggested text (and contact information) here
