Dear FSU Members,

Please join us tomorrow (Friday), from 3:30-6:30, for our next bargaining session with the Administration.   (contact FSU or Steve Striffler for registration information).

And don’t forget about our next FSU bargaining action next Thursday!

Thursday, December 9, from 12:30-1:30: Please join all the campus unions on the first floor of Quinn for a rally; we will deliver a letter to the Administration demanding fair, serious, bargaining.

Thursday 12:30-1:30 – All Union Meeting and Action – Join us!

11/30/2021

Dear FSU Members,

Please join all the campus unions in telling the administration that it must bargain fairly and improve labor relations on campus.

This will not take long -- Thursday, December 2, from 12:30-1:30.    (contact FSU or Steve Striffler for Zoom information).

We will be sending the Administration emails and remind them that a broad range of labor issues must be central to UMB’s strategic vision for a health promoting and anti-racist institution.

Bargaining Today – please join us at 4pm

And don’t forget about our FSU bargaining actions the next two Thursdays!

Bargaining Update and Call to Action

11/23/2021

Dear FSU Members,

We are fed up. The FSU (along with the other campus unions, by the way, who are experiencing the same thing), are sick and tired of how bargaining, and labor relations more generally, are being treated by the current University Administration.  And we need your help; keep reading for ways you can support your union.

The Point: Necessary Fictions and Cognitive Dissonance

11/22/2021

Greetings, Colleagues:

Full disclosure: this is the first of a series of messages you will be getting in the coming days about how collective bargaining is unfolding. I get to kick things off but before long you will also hear from FSU President Steve Striffler, and also directly from our core bargaining team and contract action team.  It might seem like a lot, but it is—I promise—important.
